Very smart additions. The Rocket is a noteable classic. :thumb:

Re- the stars and bars being upside down, could say "schoolboy error", but I'm 58, Mike!( Its OK on the other side of the fuselage).
Will carefully check my decal placement next time!

Its O.K. (we all have "Seniors moments"), I've got a few on my ceiling the same way, from when I was a school boy :airhead:

My collection is very eclectic, Shep. They are mainly random purchases from Modelzone sales (pre-WHSmith days!), Home Bargains ( that's were the Ferrari came from), Aldi , or charity shops (recently found a stash of models for sale in my local British Heart Foundation shop). I have never gone shopping with the intention to buy a particular model! I also use the little pots of paint found in Airfix starter/gift sets, and tubes of artists acrylic , again purchased in bargain stores. That's what I like about plastic modelling, it need not be an expensive hobby.

That is a great attitude to have, as a student I am always on the lookout for a budget solution, I have quite the collection of starter set pots now although most of the numbers have rubbed off so its a case of comparing colours to see what's about right. Still haven't actually bought any paintbrushes. :D

Sensible words mate. I´m a thrifty modeler myself. I love the charity shops and boot´s sales. You walk in there with a clear mind, not expecting anything, and ever so often you find that odd kit no one wants. Getting a bargain, cheap as chips is the best feeling ever! :blob:

You guys are so lucky. After reading about other peoples charity shop bargains, I tried out here in OZ, no luck. If a bargain is spotted on "Flea bay" the postage is usually a killer. Luckily my stash will keep me busy until I'm 106, (at the rate I'm building them).

I have now deleted my photobucket account as they no longer provide free 3rd party hosting i.e I cannot post photos of my models unless I pay an extortionate amount for the privilege.
