Bristol 170 Freighter
Airfix 1/72 (from Superfreigthter)

This is a model first built in about 1962 as the Superfreighter. It was modified to the Freighter configuration in about 1980 in New Zealand colours (silver and white). At this time, a large split in the starboard wing was repaired. It was painted badly so it was stripped down and repainted in the same colours in about 1995. The same model has now been repainted in New Zealand camouflage colours. More work was done to disguise the split in the wing.

Very good models, Gerry!
You know, looking at that Yak 28 I remember a plane of the Serie Johnny Quest, although that plane had propellers, not jet engines... It crashed between two trees!
I like that big and fat Bristol 170 Freighter: could they put a car inside it?

They did Daniel, (watch James Bond Goldfinger, as they use them in that film).
A Yak Vac Gerry, you must have the whole Contrail collection. Great work.

I really love the Freighter. :clapping:
I see you're about to receive one of ours back again. It's not quite as nice as when it left the factory - but I'm pleased it's going to a good home. It's been sitting outside at Ardmore for too long.
