This gallery is for the pictures of the participants' finished models. Only post in here once your model has been finished.

I enjoyed building this kit and feel that the model has the "look" of the real thing.
Looking forward to seeing the others in this Group Build in their different schemes and markings.
Ron.

Wow excellent it looks like those ones that fly over my house very high. Reality is the most key charachteristic all finished models should have

Finally finished up last night, no major last minute dramas thank goodness. managed to take some pictures this morning.

To refresh your memory, this is what I was trying to emulate. (Click to view larger image.)
<a href="http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=10&imgid=154487741" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic19.picturetrail.com/VOL1087/4548846/10351876/t-154487741.jpg" border="0" alt="APA Islander G-AYRU" /></a>

This is what I ended up with.

I'm pretty please with the way it turned out. She still tail-sits very easily as I couldn't get much more weight in. But the paint scheme and rigging I'm very pleased about. I thoroughly enjoyed the build and seeing how everyone elses builds progressed. Thanks to everyone for taking part!

Well done Red!
I must confess that I couldn't get so close to mine for photography since all the flaws/faults would show up. Your decals have come out well and you have a good replica of the parachutists plane. Your paint job is excellent. Congrats.
Ron.

Very nice job Red, thanks for leading an enjoyable build.

Here is my effort, like Ron, I dare not get too close with the camera, my paint work may look a little shoddy

This is the first time I've looked at these pics ....... being of a very critical nature ( my workers think Simon Cowel is soft compared to me ) I say those are some of the best models I've seen for a while very well done all. I am well impressed .

er where is the "full on respect" emoticon ?
