Thanks for the comments chaps. Home straight now, just some highlights on the helemets and boots to polish. The helemets tend to be moulded as part of the head (I don't know where the head ends and helmet starts on some of them). Also note "stumpy" second from right. He's the driver. I havent got any 1/32 spare hands so he stays that way, but I am justifiyng it as that's what my original make 30 odd years ago looked like!

Ayup Neil...

Top Sutff Mate.

I've just finished filling sinkmarks and Gaps with Filler on the Hunter. Should be nice and Hardened off in the Morning. (Hopes, that is...)

Gonna tackle that Mis-shapen lump that is the 'Airbrake'...

Thanks feanor. I was looking at your hunter, there's a lot of work to do on the seams there. Looking forward to the finished article.

Also note "stumpy" second from right. He's the driver. Interesting, I had forgotten about "stumpy" but have just looked at the 1910 Omnibus and that driver also has a stump...curious!

Three Angels. I also took some close ups but to be honest they aren’t going to win any beauty prizes!

But fea, when Neil comes to glue his Angels' posteriors to their seats, if he did as you suggest he'd be gluing them to paint, wouldn't he :?:  So the bond would be a bit iffy  :!:

I tried carving off the detail and leaving them with flat chests, but they didn't look right. See below for the angels during surgery.  :D

Dan you are correct, but don’t worry fea I won’t be leaving any bare plastic on show.

A few more bits, thanks to my Graham Bleatham Cross-Sections book, Steve Pietrobon and of course Billy Bucaneer who has taken the accurisation of the Angel Interceptor to a new level.

I've been using my day off to get some stalled projects moving and also to start a few new ones (why not?!) I've been doing a few bits and pieces of paintwork to that 737-500 I started a few months back, but nothing that would really show up in the photos compared to where it was before. However, it has moved on! The Aero Delfin i started has now also got a red nose, red wingtips, a red bullet fairing ont he top of the tail and I've also been painting strips of jammy dog tape to be used for the painted red stripes on the wings and around the nose:
Image

I've also been spraying the landing gear bays and intakes of the Hasegawa Mitsubishi F-1 while I had the airbrush out for the Le Mans cars; I've done a few running repairs tot he An-74 I started months ago; I've painted the cockpit and insides of a bagged Airfix SR-53 and finally I've begun working on the Hasegawa Embraer E-170. This is an exquisite little airliner kit, that includes an internal bulkhead with a screw that you can pass through to add nose weight:
Image

Genius! And check out all thoe litte aerials and antennae - for sure I'm going to end up busting some of those off and losing them - they're too delicate!

Tonight I've spent the evening sanding and filling the An-74. It took a lot of work to get the gap on the underside smooth enough with its plasticard plug at the front end - still, that's finished at least. I've also spent a bit of time mating the wing and the fuselage together, so now I have something that at least remotely looks like an aircraft...

Next step is to sand back all of that lovely, lovely filler

Good stuff, looking forward to the Antonov.

What an excellent nose weight idea on the Hasegawa kit, all kits should be like this (after all, they must know it has to go in there as they put it in the instructions!).

More of the Delfin - I've added the anti-glare to the nose and got the red stripes on around the nose and wingtips:

I've Kleared the Delfin ready for decals and also given its (rather old) decal sheet a coat of Liquid Decal Film to, hopefully, prevent break-up.

I've also added the intake rings to the 737, put its gear legs and nose gear doors on and, in doing so, noticed that I forgot to paint the main gear legs   :

Progress on quite a few fronts!
